This just in: The Superintendent has announced that the final $90 million in bonding will be pushed up to next year, 2009, rather than 2011. This may be intended to prevent a newly elected school board from stopping the Red Plan. The next school board election will also be next year but it won't be seated until January of 2010. This will take you to Harry Welty's blog. Come right back.

Attend the next meeting of Let Duluth Vote Thursday, June 26th, at 6:30 at the Duluth Heights Community Club.
(Our webmaster sometimes forgets to list the latest meeting dates. Call Brenda if our next listed meeting is out of date - 390-7768)

We submitted a petition for a smaller building plan on the ballot on or about April 4th. The district had ten days to act on it and eventually their lawyers advised them to ask the State Attorney General to review some objections with our petition. The District let six weeks pass before acting on this advice.

Restore our Schools  is a new anti Red Plan organization.

Move Forward Duluth has recently been formed to cheerlead for the Red Plan.
