Our
second petition begged for a compromise and offered a plan that cost 2/3rds of
the Red Plan's total expense. This
is what our second petition said: PETITION:
ISD 709
This is what our Plan B. would look like. Note as of 8-28-2008: After the Attorney General's ruling permitting a vote on our Plan B referendum several things should be made clear. 1. It is advisory. Even if it gets put on the ballot after Plan B is reviewed by the State the current School Board is free to ignore the vote. 2. Because it is advisory an even smaller and more affordable plan is possible if the current School Board sees the light OR if they are stopped and replaced by a new school board next Fall in the 2009 school board election. For this reason we would encourage everyone to support our small plan in hopes it will shrink down to an even more manageable size. |
