The Tax payer's lawsuit against JCI and ISD 709 Although Let Duluth Vote does not have standing to go to court, not being a property owner, it has raised money for a the lawsuit brought by five brave souls alleging that the contract to build the Red Plan is unlawful. They are suing the Duluth School District and Johnson Controls a two headed Goliath. Like the five smooth stones gathered by David these citizens intend to bring down a Fortune 100 Company 100 times bigger than Minnesota Power and the Duluth School District which has set aside $250,000 to fight the taxpayers in court. Five smooth stones are defending the hopes of 3,000 taxpayers who have sent in donations to mount the challenge. This could be just the first of legal challenges over the Red plan financed by Let Duluth Vote. In short order we will outline out case as simply as we can to
