other issues

There are many other reasons people should oppose the Red Plan among them:

- The theft of our traditional voting rights.
- Central High's superior site for a high school or middle school
- Three high schools would be cheaper than this without risking the          excess levy
- an objection to the new boundaries drawn in the new facilities plan
- an objection to the magnitude and the excessive cost of the proposed plan
- the non existant discussion about elementary and middle school  demolition and whether this is a higher priority than teaching and programming

The latest information about the Red Plan can be found at Harry Welty's blog: www.lincolndemocrat.com

Today's tidbit from Harry: "Finally, the Duluth News Tribune
reported
on Rep. Mike Jaros’s bill which could potentially
cripple the Red Plan a week after he introduced it. . ."
